How and when do I register?

The paper registration form will be sent out in early 2019. Online registration will also be available at that time. In advance of registration, you may want to contact block mates, student groups, and old friends and encourage them to join you at Reunion. 

Accommodations

A block of rooms have been reserved at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Boston - Cambridge. To get the reunion room rate, please click here for the reservation link or call 617-562-4160 and mention the Harvard and Radcliffe Class of 1959 Reunion block when making the reservation. Room Rate: $289. Reservation Deadline: April 30, 2019 or until block is full. 

When do the events begin and end?

Check-in opens on Monday May 27 with a welcome reception. The reunion will wrap up on Commencement Day, Thursday, May 30, including the Tree Spread luncheon betwen the morning and afternoon exercises. 

A La Carte or Full Package?

You may pick and choose which events you’d like to attend. There is a discount if you buy a full package that grants you entry to all Reunion events. The schedule will be posted on the website and updated as events are finalized.
 

Can I register at the door?

Walk-in attendees are on a space-available basis. To be sure you’ll have a spot, buy in advance! If available, ticket prices will be marked up at the door. 
 

Can only members of 1959 attend?

Guests are welcome, as are alumni friends of the class celebrating reunion from other years. Anyone with a Harvard Key can register for Reunion events. Guests who are not affiliated with Harvard should be added to the registration form of the class member with whom they are attending.
 

I'm attending with another member of our class, What should we do?

If both members of a couple are a member of the class of 1959, we recommend you register separately and let HAA know that you would like to link your information.
 

If I register in advance and my plans change, Can I be refunded?

Refunds requested in writing (email is preferred) to 60thReunion_HAA@harvard.edu by Wednesday, May 1 will be granted. Following the May 1 deadline, we won’t be able to refund cancelled orders.
 

Is there parking?

Complimentary parking is available on campus at the 10 Everett Street garage, as well as the 52 Oxford Street garage. When you arrive at the garage, tell the attendant you’re here for Reunions.
 

What if I have Dietary Restrictions?

There will be vegetarian options at all Reunion events. If you have a further dietary restriction, please indicate this on your registration form and we’ll work to provide alternative meals.
 

Are Harvard museums open?

The Harvard Museums will be available for reunion attendees free of charge with their reunion namebadge. More information can be found here: reunion attraction information.

 

What if I have a disability or certain medical concerns?

To help make reunion attendance possible for those with disabilities or certain medical conditions, accommodations and services can be provided to those who make requests on the registration form. College Alumni Programs, in collaboration with University Disability Services, will make every effort to effectively accommodate the needs of alumni. In order to ensure timely accommodations, advanced planning is strongly encouraged.
